SOUTHWEST OHIO CLASSIC SWIM MEET Largest High School Meet in the Nation EASY MEET MANAGER is used every year to run the largest high school swimming meet in the nation in January. This meet involves over 2400 swimmers and divers (boys and girls) over a two day format. Preliminaries were run simultaneously at six sites around the southwest Ohio area. As each event is completed at each site, the meet data is sent to a central location where EASY MEET MANAGER combines the results and chose the qualifiers for the finals each evening. It does this in a matter of seconds and the list of qualifiers is sent back to each site for announcing. The results are posted on a web site as each event is finished (www.swimmeet.com, below).
EASY MEET MANAGER also took care of printing the heat sheets for the finals each evening with no further data entry! And then, of course, EASY MEET MANAGER ran the finals, generated the award labels and the scores.
The final results of the meet show about 790 swimmers in just the girl's 50yd free! And the complete meet results were ready to be duplicated the day after the meet finished. The Sectional and District meets in Southern Ohio are run the same way so that qualifiers and coaches know immediately if they are in the next round.
